
Teachers wishing to examine topics or students wishing to revise specific areas of the course can use the quizzes as part of a classroom exercise or privately at home.
The use of modern technology has been applied to these Challenges to make the application as interactive and visually appealing as possible. If a question is not answered correctly, there are comprehensive answers showing a correct way to approach the problem.
Business Challenge:These questions are particularly geared to the Short Answer Questions (SAQ’s) section of the Leaving Certificate Business examination. Using a broad spread of question types, the Business Challenge has nine topics with which students can test their knowledge of the Business syllabus.
The emphasis is focused on examining individual Business topics. The nine topics chosen this year will be augmented in future editions of Business 2000 by different subject areas.
Economics Challenge:The Economics Challenge covers a broad spectrum of issues from the Leaving Certificate Economics syllabus, and now has six modules covering areas such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Competition.
LCVP Challenge:New to this edition is the Leaving Certificate Vocational Program (LCVP) Challenge. This has been devided into two sections to mirror the two main areas of the program, Introduction to the World of Work, and Enterprise Education. Each section has 15 questions and is designed to assist in the revision for the final paper.
